I have over three decades of experience creating software, sharing knowledge, and building teams – as a developer, architect, and manager of agile teams. I have worked on everything from gaming to enterprise systems, from start-up companies to international corporations. Born in Pascal, fostered in C/C++ and reborn in Java. I still treasure coding, but people make all the difference.

I love sharing knowledge – mostly on various technical subjects and agile methods as a recurring speaker with 40+ sessions, from small events to international conferences such as JavaOne. I have organised over 70 events, from user groups to over a hundred participants. Add to this a penchant for the written word in articles, blogs and magazines.
